The word "AWANA" comes from the Bible verse: "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed" (2 Timothy 2:15). AWANA is a discipleship-focused, gospel-centered, mid-week club for boys and girls. Who is AWANA for? AWANA Club is for children between ages 3 (by September 1 of the current school year) and 6th Grade. AWANA is a volunteer-led ministry that relies on volunteers to run safely and efficiently. Cubbies must be fully potty-trained and parents are required to be on campus and be involved in a ministry (i.e. AWANA, youth group, etc). We offer Trek and Journey for our Jr High and High School students as a way of continuing through their books. Our students attend our church's youth group and then come down to AWANA after to get their books signed off. We do not offer a full complete Wednesday program for them due to the fact that our youth group meets at the same time. If you would like your student to continue in the AWANA books through High School, and they do not attend our Youth Group, please contact Rebekah to make arrangements. AWANA Year: The AWANA year will run from Sept. 2, 2026 thru May 5, 2027. Wednesday, August 26 (6:15-8pm) - Parent Preview Night - parents & clubbers are invited to come and meet their leaders and find more about the club year! Dinner will be provided. Books and uniforms will be distributed so clubbers are prepared for Week 1 (Sept. 2). Cost: Cost: $85/child (Cubbies, Sparks & T and T) & $50/youth (JH and High School) Note: We would never want the cost of AWANA to keep anyone from attending. Payment plans are available.
